Victor Manuel is a Tampa native with over 20 years of experience in the world of gastronomy, specializing in the beverage, restaurant, and hospitality industries.
His journey into the world of wine began with his very first job as a waiter.
A colleague gifted him a book about wine, igniting a passion that has defined his career ever since. Determined to experience every wine he read about, Victor first fell in love with the wines of the Rhône Valley and hasn’t looked back since.
Victor has managed beverage programs both domestically and internationally, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to La Vid.
His career is built upon the support of mentors and colleagues who recognized his passion and potential, and he continues to honor that tradition by making La Vid a welcoming space for wine lovers, learners, and professionals alike in the Tampa area.
Victor sees himself as more than just a sommelier—he’s an ambassador for every product he sells. His passion extends not only to the wines on the shelf but also to helping others learn about and appreciate wine. He thrives on interacting with customers, offering insider tips, and creating unforgettable wine experiences.
