Evenings worth planning around

Every event at La Vid teaches you something: a region, a grape, a tradition. Seats are limited; the conversation isn't. Call to reserve a spot.

November 2026

Glasses of Spanish and Portuguese wine poured for a First Friday tasting at La Vid

Friday7:00 - 9:00 pm

First Friday Tasting at La Vid

High-quality Iberian wines poured to taste, on the first Friday of the month.

$35 per person

Details

The November edition of La Vid’s monthly First Friday tasting.

An evening given over to Spanish and Portuguese wine worth taking seriously: bottles chosen for quality rather than novelty, poured to taste rather than described across a counter.

What is open changes month to month. What does not change is the standard — these are wines Victor stands behind, and the kind that make more sense with a glass in hand than from a shelf talker.

Accoutrements are available à la carte, so you can build a plate alongside the glasses or leave it at the wine.

$35 per person.

Wine classes, if you want them

Victor is considering a deeper series of wine classes: structured tastings that build a real foundation, method by method. If that interests you, say so; enough interest makes it happen.

Some bottles come with a note. This one says “Very hush-hush.”
